there was some confusion on my part on tonights run and i am looking for clarification on this rule

example....healing pally raiding..... a healing plate piece drops and i choose to roll greed instead of need i was under the imprection u risk losing the piece 2 someones offspec but if u win it still goes under greed and ur need is not taken

tonight we had a plate dps piece drop it went 2 need no one rolled in proceed to off spec 3 pallies rolled me another pally and a dps pally....the dps pally rolled the highest knowing the risk of rolling greed instead of need and was forced 2 pass it appeared

just looking for some clarification on this cause back in bc when we used dkp i rememeber alot of people would roll offspec even if for the main cause it saved half dkp

has the rule changed?

I did not force Arterin to pass he decided to pass himself as far as I know.  You are correct in your understanding of the policy (although I could not find a written policy around at the moment).  If necessary I can draft one.
