This thread is to consolidate questions we have of the officers.  Hopefully someone 'in the know' will answer.

(Please also read the "Officer and other position listings" listings for further views and opinions)

* Who are the guild's officers and what are they in charge of.

* What are the guild's objectives?  (Only the Onyxia chain has been officially mentioned)

* How will the guild disseminate information to the members?  (This forum isn't widely used)

* When will we vote on a raid night?  (We can already field a full party of 10, and have at least 14 raid level players)

* What are the loot rules?  (I know the old ones, I do not know if they've changed)

I can field a few of these questions, being that I'm an officer and all.

I am the Raid Assistant, Franz is currently Raid Leader.

Frostburn is still Guild Leader. He's been away for a bit, but he's still leading things.

Sicro is our Information Specialist. Sicro knows a LOT about this game, be it in tradeskilling, questing, class information, etc. He is our go-to guy whenever anyone has a question about most tradeskills, class skills, quests, etc. He is VERY knowledgeable, perfect for this role.

Nalen is the Guild Treasurer. He runs the Guild's bank, keeping track of our funds and what special or rare items the guild currently possesses. In particular he is holding our stocks of Dark Iron Ore, and some of the rarer crafting components.

Mouser is the Guild Recruiter. It is his job to invite new members to join in the hopes of bolstering our ranks, preparing us for larger and larger in-house instances.

Now, as far as our objectives, Onyxia is still one of our objectives. However, a new one looms on the horizon, one we can more realistically achieve as a guild by ourselves, and that is Zul'Gurub. When it is released, I will start doing everything I can to learn about it, and directing people who wish to do the necessary quests to enter it and the quests within it.

As far as dissemination of information, I have nothing to say on that. Currently, word of mouth and this forum are our methods, but we certainly need a more wide-spread and reliable method. Anyone with suggestions, by all means make them. I might suggest a sort of mass-mailing to all Guildmembers (in-game mail), and may start one tonight.

Raid Nights are tricky, because many of us have very different schedules. I am available to raid most weeknights after 11 or so, which I know does not work for most of us. I am available during the evening (around 8 or so) on Wednesdays, and I am available virtually all day Thursday, Friday and Sunday. I do not know Franz's schedule, hopefully he will post it here at some point.

With regard to the loot rules, they have not changed. They are listed on this site. under the Guild Policy/Guidelines section.

Hopefully this will clear up some of the confusion about what's going on. I know Frostburn's extended absence has disorganized the guild somewhat, but Franz and I will start trying to get things back on track.

I saw that Mouser left the guild last night, but was wondering if Mund is still the War leader?  Does the guild consider it appropriate to have other competing Wow priorities in the officer ranks, especially for key roles?

Bynn there, done that.

At this point, who are the officers?  My understanding is that Frostburn will remain as leader, assisted by Aramis.  Sicro is information officer.  Who else fills what role?
